I photographed this early piece by Roland Gatin, a Salt Spring stone sculptor. His work was being displayed at Pegasus Gallery at the time. I was required to photograph the work in place in the very full public gallery. It was a challenge but I remember how lucky I felt to work with this spectacular piece.
I believe it was sold to someone from Calgary and that Roland drove his car to Calgary to deliver it.
