Galiano is one of the Southern Gulf Islands off Vancouver Island’s southwest shore. I had an hour wait for a photoshoot on Galiano, decided to do a bit of exploring, and stumbled upon some sandstone on the western shoreline.
It was a tight spot and required some experimenting with a wide angle lens. There was also a huge exposure range between the full sunlight and the darkness in the caves, so some bracketing was required.
