Here’s another look at this frog that seemed to want to come closer and look at the camera straight on. I quickly changed lenses to the 100 macro lens (shot info below) and it was just right for this portrait: it’s a ‘longish’, portrait-length macro lens so I was able to focus closely on the fog and still keep a couple of meters away.
I like the shallow focus, but selecting f/8 probably would have brought the second eye into focus as well.
