These two images were taken on the trails behind our house on Thursday December 11th after a night of rainfall (30mm). It was darker than usual at 9 a.m. but Rufus was right at home racing around through the trails and underbrush and thundering past me every couple of minutes.
Leaving the ‘pricy’ photo gear at home, I relied on my phone to capture a couple of images. Due to the low light, the phone chose a higher than usual ‘ISO’ (640), a slow shutter speed (1/25 second), and a shallow depth of focus (f/1.8).
