106 sailboats entered the 2016 Round Saltspring Race. Westerly, a Santa Cruz 70 sailing for the Royal Victoria Yacht Club was the first to cross the finish line.
Because boats have a’PHRF’ rating and results are corrected with the PHRF ratings in mind, Westerly, although crossing the finish line first, actually finished 16th overall on corrected time.
