A hazy June morning just after 7 a.m. (sunrise was at 5:11 a.m.) looking straight at the sun with an automatic exposure and no filters, and no editing.
The image above is an accurate presentation of what I saw and, to me at least, impressive because the inexpensive Canon 50mm lens was pointed straight at the sun on a hazy day with fog.
