On October 2nd, the sunrise was forecast (Environment Canada) to be at 7:15 a.m.
I brought my iPhone 14 Pro Max with me along ridge view trail behind our home and came home with the set of images below.

Always get to your shooting location well before sunrise. Because I know the spot well, I arrived just before 7 a.m. and had time to walk to the far end of the ridge, taking mental notes of spots that looked like they were going to work well that morning. The photo above was taken at 7:08 a.m.
I then rotated the camera southward towards Mount Doug and used the wide lens:
I walked back to the northern end of the ridge, stopping at each of the other spots:
