A mom and two little ones on an early April day. I was fortunate to get to see these three standing still for a fleeting moment in an Island field with a great background (that’s firewood stacked along the fence line and trees blossoming). I think the background is important to the image.
The image also works though, I think with the background cropped out (top part of the image) and full emphasis on main subjects. Something to think about when working on your images.
Which do you prefer, not cropped as above, or cropped as below?

Technical: ISO 200 (for fine grain and large prints), 1/250 sec f/2.8 for shallow depth of focus to emphasize the sheep and blur the background and foreground, 200mm lens
