Remembering my last visit with lots of small birds in the logs at the edge of the Isle View Beach parking lot …I was quickly disappointed. Unlike an early morning visit this time last year, there were none.
There were a few crows here and there until this raven landed close by. I got a couple of quick Raven shots and viewed the images on the camera and was pleased to see that the 800mm lens can provide crisp, detailed images.
It wasn’t until looking at the images on the computer that I noticed the flying insect (wasp?) passing in front of the raven.
