A Wilco Construction home on Saltspring Island in October 2017. Wilco’s custom homes were creatively designed for each client and were constructed with meticulous attention to detail.
I attempted to match Wilco’s craftsmanship with every home I photographed for them. Note that even though it was a bright day, a tripod and tilt-shift lens was used to ensure the image was crisp, level and square. Also, despite the contrasty light, there’s detail in both the highlights and the shadows.
This modern timber frame home faces west across fields, to the ocean and to Vancouver Island.
