Came across this on a dark and early morning dog walk in the forest near our Salt Spring Island home.
Note this was an off leash dog on a regular walk. So I did know the plant was there in the forest and probably ready to be photographed and I did come ready to work down at ground level. (a Fairy Slipper is a tiny native plant)
