Michael is a designer of automobiles, of homes and furnishings and…of many things. I was doing a small job—including a few portrait images—with him one day on Salt Spring Island. During the photoshoot for AQUA magazine, I asked him to sit on this tree overhanging the ocean. As a designer, he’s used to seeing things in creative and novel ways and readily agreed.
