It’s been a mild December on southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands this year. We’ve seen a number of days with thick fog. Quite a change from the crisp days a year ago when kids young and old had a week of great snow for sliding.
The morning image above shows yesterday’s fog on a residential Saanich street. The mid-afternoon image below was taken yesterday from the viewpoint trail looking toward Haro Strait and the North Cascades.
