Pre-sunrise sky above Haro Strait and Mount Doug (7:24 a.m. on October 14, 2024).
It was heavily overcast that morning (and fully overcast overhead and to the west, but the rising sun surprised me by painting the clouds beautifully. It was also wonderful to watch how much the sky changed over the 20 minutes I spent in the viewpoint area.
