Baker’s Back

Mount Baker from Saanich Fog and haze. ©johncameron.ca

After a several month absence, Mount Baker recently became partly visible before going back into hiding behind the clouds.

The first image I shot was not crisp when viewed on the camera back. Adding a polarizing filter to the front of the lens helped a bit. And substantial editing work on the computer helped with a bit with definition. Lastly, choosing black and white rather than colour and adding a bit more contrast, made the image almost usable on a website.
