ArtSpring Reflected

Inside the ArtSpring building (Salt Spring Island’s centre for the arts), I noticed some unusual reflections.

I tried shooting inside the building with the windows to outside on my left—and the camera at the glass wall of a meeting room in front. The painted, windowless far wall of the meeting room seems to have disappeared and shows instead: grass and rock walls in front of the chairs.

This aerial view of ArtSpring shows the recycled-rubber-tire-shake-roof which keeps about 600 tires out of the landfill and has a 50 year guarantee.

Noticing is the first step to creating an interesting or unusual image. Digital cameras make it easier and faster than film, current model phones with instant processing make it even easier.
