Two old Gary Oaks in our closest park display their creativity for local walkers to enjoy. This area was previously part of an original owner’s property (where his horses could roam). It is now a delightful little Saanich Park.
Technical: Canon EOS R5 , ISO 3200, 1/200 sec, f/10, 100-400mm zoom lens at 100mm, handheld.
I’ve noticed the many Oaks many times over the last 5 years. Yesterday two of the trees caught my eye as they put their personalities on display. The first, a tree with many twisted arms, was photographed at eye level .
The second (obviously a gnome door) is hiding just off a short path near the playground.
