Early yesterday I noticed an interesting cloud pattern was developing overhead, grabbed a camera and 50mm lens and headed out for a look. This first image, shot straight overhead shows a portion of the developing vista.
Technical:Canon EOS R5 , ISO 500, 1/1000 sec, f/8, 50mm F1.8 lens, handheld
The second image (vertical) shows the southern sky side-lit by the rising sun.

After chatting with a neighbour (a long time photographer), I heard one of the Harbour Air floatplanes overhead and took a third photo of the brightening sky.
note: on the original (full resolution) image, the Harbour Air logo is visible.
