A short story about arriving at the image above…
A large number of daisies alongside a south facing sidewalk caught my eye. I grabbed a quick phone photo. But then realized the image might look like a bunch of white dots on a green background when viewed on a phone. See the image below…
So I got in closer and tried a horizontal shot. (see below). It was OK but kind of scruffy looking and would probably involve a lengthy computer edit.
So I got even closer and changed the angle of view…so easy to do with a phone (select 3X lens) and ended up with the shot at the top of this post.
This is a common route most everyone takes in their photographic journey: finding a way to best present something that caught your eye. And it is so quick and easy with a phone!
