The Hawaii Martin Mars water bomber made its final flight yesterday leaving Sprout Lake and landing Pat Bay near the Victoria International Airport to the delight of tens of thousands of spectators.
Travelling with the Martin were the Canadian Forces jets and their smoke trails in formation with the water bomber over the airport. video
The new home for the Hawaii will be the B.C. Aviation Museum at the Victoria International Airport.
