Shortly after ‘sunrise’, the heavy clouds opened a tiny bit to reveal an unusual yellow/orange sky. Mount Baker and the North Cascade mountains made a short, clear appearance.
technical: I tried a couple of phone shots with the built-in 3x telephoto lens, combined with substantial zooming in on Baker for impact, but at best is was barely OK for viewing on a phone screen…so those were of no real use.
