Saanich Sky 2

Just clouds this morning ©johncameron.ca

Shortly after sunrise this Sunday morning, while the eastern sky was a fading orange, the sky directly overhead was a lovely blue and white.

I’m in the habit of looking all around for possible images, but I don’t always look straight up. This was a good reminder for me and an easy shot with the phone I had with me. (exposure time was 1/707 sec, so the image is crisp).

Earlier, about 7:35 am, the first image below shows the fog over Juan De Fuca Strait and the impending sunrise above the North Cascades.

And later (about 8:20 a.m.), Rithet’s Bog as the sun rises…

And close nearby, this lovely Gary Oak with the clearing sky behind.
