Another photo taken from our previous home on Saltspring Island. This was a most unusual and fleeting afternoon sky moment—considering it was taken January 1.
Technical: Canon 1D Mark IV camera, 300mm f/2.8 lens at f/8 for 1/50 sec. Having a camera and lens close by and ready to shoot gives you a much better chance of capturing wildlife and weather images.
